SJMA consists of current and retired City of San José managers.
Our mission is:

- To develop warm and positive relationships among managers with the City of San José.
- To sponsor a wide variety of events which provide an opportunity for social interaction and fun.
- To sponsor activities which allow managers to be of service, either individually or as a group, to others both within the City workforce and within the community.
History
SJMA was formed in 1987 to inform, motivate and foster achievement through a variety of events. Its overall mission is to develop warm and positive relationships among the managers in the City organization.
