Are you all ready to kick off 2023 year with SJMA? Your SJMA Board is ready and hopefully you are too. We will be combining this event with SJMA’s signature event, Membership Appreciation. So what does this mean to you? The tab is on us!
We have an exciting event in store for you starting with our beloved signature event SJMA Board Installation Luncheon on Wednesday May 3, 2023. We are grateful to have a spectacular panelist of City leaders Dolan Beckel (CMO - Chief of Staff), Omar Passons (CMO - Deputy City Manager), Khaled Tawfik (Director - Information Technology ), Rick Bruneau (Director - Finance) and Rachel VanderVeen (Assistant Director - Housing and former SJMA Board member). In addition, we will be inducting the 2023 SJMA Board.
Currently, SJMA Board is seeking current City employees in management positions to join the board to help host annual events throughout the year. Specifically, if City staff have an interest in being treasurer, secretary or membership chair, please contact Hayde Pacheco, President, at hayde.pacheco@sanjoseca.gov, or Aurelia Bailey, Vice President, at aurelia.bailey@sanjoseca.gov.
