Dear SJMA member,

We have rescheduled our SJMA's Kathy Lang Professional Development Series, called "You hear me, but are you listening?"  by Kim Jackson from City Attorney's Office.  Please join us for this great event!

You will learn how to communicate more clearly by listening.  Listening is an art form, but many are using crayons when this new ‘zoom environment’ calls for calligraphy. This training will take you to the next level of management effectiveness and increase your self-awareness. Please join us to add an additional tool to your leadership arsenal.

About the Trainer:

Kim Jackson is the Chief of Staff for the Office of the City Attorney. Before joining the City of San Jose, she was the California Regional Director of Learning and Development for Comcast and NBC Universal.  She has over 20 years of experience in talent development, performance consulting, training, and administration. Kim is a sought-after presenter because of her ability to make complicated concepts simple by inserting humor and real-life examples. She has been a speaker for numerous business events and non-profits. Kim resides in San Jose, California, with her husband, three sons, and two dogs (her 4-legged children). She is an avid shopper, reader, and crime-show-watcher in her spare time.

If you have any questions, please contact Rajani Nair at rnair95@yahoo.com or text/call phone (408) 799-7462.

Best regards,
Your SJMA Board of Directors
